Hotel Castel Rundegg (Adults Only) - Merano

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city centre and not far from the river in the beautiful Meran valley. The cleanliness was perfect, and the hotel had great facilities including a good pool. The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.

Can't fault the hotel in any way.

This is a very fine hotel with multlingual staff (Italian, German, English) who were friendly and helpful, justifiably proud of their sparkling indoor pool, tower rooms in the castle with beams, grounds, close to Centro and surrounded by the magnificent Dolomites. Internet okay in annex; bathroom new, swank, sparkling. Parking is free and easy, as was the whole experience there. HIghly recommended.

Everything!!!! The staff and management were all extremely friendly and helpful.They went out of their way to welcome and assist you and give you ideas on what to do and see in their area. The spa and pool were fantastic as was our room.A Storm during our visit added to the allure of the castle setting.The restaurant was perfect and the buffet breakfast had something for all tastes. It is very close to town and an easy walk to interesting sites. It was just perfect for us.

Wonderful facilities and delicious food

I had the chance to stay at a beautiful castle and everything about it seemed luxurious, from the grand interior to the well-manicured gardens. The meals were always tasty with plenty of options, especially during breakfast. the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

The staff at this hotel was a real let-down. They were impolite and unresponsive to our needs, making us feel unimportant and unwanted.

this luxury hotel has a nice atmosphere and is centrally situated on the slope of a mountain. the rooms are very big and very well furnished.

free wifi works only in a small part of the hotellobby.

Room`s bathroom a bit old

Staying in a historical castle has its charm, especially with nearby scenic walking routes and historic buildings. the room we stayed in had a large bathroom, comfortable bed, and excellent views of the garden and surrounding mountains. Breakfast was extensive and had a variety of dishes available. the spa facilities were also enjoyable, especially the pool and saunas.

The spa had strange hours, and the lack of WiFi in the rooms was inconvenient.

Spent Christmas in a charming castle in Northern Italy. Loved the beautiful garden and festive lighting. the spa treatments were top, notch and helped to de, stress during the holiday madness. the snow, covered Alps in the distance added to the holiday atmosphere.

The traffic noise from the nearby road was a bit of a distraction. the lack of Wi, Fi in the rooms was inconvenient.

Great staff, dinner prepared on arrival, convenient location, beautiful garden, good pool, spacious rooms.

I can't think of any reasons why anyone wouldn't want to stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable experience.
